Paul Jentlie is the founder of Career
Search Consultants llc.
Paul started recruiting in 1990 with a local
search firm. He has recruited in a wide variety of industries, often the recruiter who is tasked with opening new industries. In 1990
Paul started recruiting sales candidates for the specialty chemical market
selling to the Pulp and Paper Industry. Starting from that foundation he
opened the research side of the P&P industry up until the economy slowed the
industries growth in the early 90's. As a result of the economy slowing, the
interest rates went down and the mortgage industry went crazy. The demand
for Loan Processors, Underwriters and Loan Officers was tremendous and Paul was
asked to help grow the mortgage group.
Paul jumped in and helped the company to get
this group rolling and then looked for a way to get back to working with the
chemical industry. The Paint & Coatings Industry seemed to
be a perfect fit. Government regulations were driving changes, and many of
the paper coatings people that Paul had already worked with could transition into
the industry.
Paul has established new groups in Food
Science, Electronics, Power and Medical areas.
Paul started in the recruiting industry in 1990
as the first employee of a partnership, by the end of 1995 he had helped them to
build a search firm with twenty five employee's and ten different industry
specialization's.
He grew in responsibility, ultimately managing
the majority (10-17) of the permanent placement recruiters, with the title of
"Bull Pen Manager".
He left to form his own company in June of 1996
and Career Search Consultants was born!
In 1997 he brought on his first employee and
CSC has grown from then on.
Career Search Consultants was incorporated on
January 1, 1999 and became Career Search Consultants llc.

Thoughts on Recruiting
As a recruiter I refuse to talk a candidate into a position that isn't right
for him or her. I feel that it is because of this I have never had a
client have a need to utilize our guaranty. I am proud of the fact that
several of my placements have retired at the company that I placed them with.
I believe that all people should be treated with respect, and that our
company should work to help people rather than strictly to make money. In
the end I think that this will ultimately make us more successful.
As recruiters I feel that we should learn the technology of any industry we
work in and work to take as much of the load off of our clients as we can.
I enjoy learning and exploring all of the technologies that are employed in
the coatings industry. I have had the opportunity to learn about a wide
variety of technologies. Learning about technologies like
electrodeposition coating, vacuum coatings, powder coatings, even the more
standard coatings is what makes being a recruiter enjoyable.
